REPLIXA GUIDE

Website QA Checklist Before Launch

A successful homepage response is only the beginning of release validation. Production QA should test the website as a system: routes, browser behavior, assets, responsive layouts, forms, search-engine signals and deployment.

1

Check HTTP status and route coverage

Request the homepage and representative public routes directly. Confirm expected 200 responses, intentional redirects and real 404 behavior.

2

Inspect browser console and network failures

Load important pages in a real browser and look for JavaScript exceptions, failed API calls, blocked resources and missing modules.

3

Validate images, fonts, CSS and scripts

Confirm that visible pages do not contain broken images or missing styles, scripts, icons and fonts. Asset URLs should resolve from production paths.

4

Test responsive layouts and navigation

Review key pages at desktop and smaller viewport widths. Menus, cards, headings, forms and calls to action should remain readable and usable.

5

Exercise forms and critical user flows

Submit important forms with valid and invalid input, verify validation messages and confirm expected destinations or notifications.

6

Verify indexability and SEO signals

For intended public pages, check title, meta description, canonical URL, robots directives, internal links and sitemap inclusion.

7

Check production configuration

Verify the production base URL, HTTPS behavior, redirects, writable application directories, caches and required background services.

8

Repeat a focused smoke test after release

After deployment, request the most important public URLs again and verify browser rendering from the real domain.

Frequently asked questions

What should be tested before a website launch?

At minimum, test important routes, browser errors, assets, responsive layouts, critical forms, SEO signals and the production deployment.

Is HTTP 200 enough to prove a page works?

No. A page can return 200 while JavaScript fails, assets are missing, layout is broken or the content is not intended for that URL.

Should QA be repeated after deployment?

Yes. A focused production smoke test can detect web-server, SSL, caching and environment differences that were not present in the build workspace.
